Fit it yourself — no engineer, no auto-electrician
Trackmatic trackers are supplied ready to fit. You install the tracker in the vehicle using the guide provided; no appointment, call-out fee or workshop downtime.
How the installation actually works
Each tracker is a small hardwired unit, not a plug-in OBD dongle. Installation means connecting two wires and securing the unit:
- The black wire connects to a negative/earth point.
- The red wire connects to a permanent positive feed.
- The unit is then secured in place using the supplied 3M adhesive pad.
A written guide is included with your tracker. If you're not confident working with vehicle wiring, most workshops or auto-electricians can fit it in a short visit — but for most customers, this is a straightforward DIY job that doesn't need one.
